Terms of Service

The scope of Versecraft, account responsibilities, local draft storage and the limits of AI-assisted writing.

Using Versecraft

These terms describe use of the Versecraft songwriting workspace. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and within the permissions you have for any material you submit. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

Current service scope

Versecraft provides lyric-writing tools, original prompts, text editing, browser-local draft storage and text export. AI generation is available only when a writing provider is configured and you meet the access requirements shown in the interface. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or provider interruptions.

The current interface does not sell a paid writing subscription. Audio generation, vocal removal, remixing and account-based cloud draft synchronization are not included. Future paid features must show their own purchase conditions before checkout.

Accounts and appropriate use

Keep your sign-in credentials private and use an account you are authorized to access. Do not attempt to bypass permissions, interfere with service operation, submit malicious content or use the service to infringe another person’s rights. Automated misuse and attempts to exhaust provider capacity may be restricted.

Submit only material you are permitted to use and share with the service and, when applicable, its configured AI provider. Avoid private information that is not necessary for the writing task.

Your lyrics and AI output

You retain the rights you already have in the material you submit. You permit the processing necessary to perform the actions you request, such as generating or rewriting lyrics. This does not give Versecraft ownership of your pre-existing writing.

AI output is a draft. It may be inaccurate, resemble existing material or fail to fit your melody and intended meaning. The service does not guarantee uniqueness, copyright protection, rights clearance, commercial suitability or a particular creative result. Review and revise material before sharing or releasing it. You are responsible for the choices you make when using the output.

Saving and backing up work

My library stores drafts in this browser and site address, rather than synchronizing them to an account. Switching devices, using another browser or clearing site data can make a saved draft unavailable. Export a text backup of work you want to preserve. A saved browser draft is not a promise of permanent or recoverable hosting.

Availability and changes

We may change features or restrict access where necessary to operate the service or address misuse. External provider availability can affect AI requests. These terms do not promise uninterrupted service or the availability of a feature that the interface marks as unavailable.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Requests about your account or use of the service can be submitted through Support in your account.

Updates

The date on this page identifies the current version. Review updated terms when the service introduces material changes.
