How Versecraft handles browser-local drafts, account information, AI requests and optional site services.

About this policy
This policy describes the data flows in the current Versecraft songwriting workspace. Feature availability is shown in the product. The writing studio works with text; it does not currently generate audio or synchronize your local draft library to an account.
Drafts stored in your browser
Saved lyric drafts, favorites and locked-line information are stored in the current browser’s local storage. They are specific to that device, browser and site address. A working brief may also be kept in session storage so you can return after signing in. Saving a draft to My library does not upload that library to your account.
You can export a draft as text or remove a saved draft from My library. Clearing the site’s browser storage removes local copies and preferences. Export important work before doing so. Local storage is not a secure vault on a shared device; people with access to the browser profile may be able to read it.
Accounts and operational data
If you create an account, the service stores the account information you submit and the records needed for authentication, sessions and access control. Authentication, anti-abuse controls and ordinary server operations also process request information such as network addresses and request timing.
The site can record operational product events. For lyric generation, the event records limited information such as the writing tool, output language and section count; the event does not contain your prompt or lyric text. This does not change what must be sent to a writing provider to fulfill an AI request.
AI writing requests
When you request AI generation, Versecraft sends your prompt, selected controls and, for a rewrite, the draft text supplied for that request to the configured writing provider. Generating a draft requires an account and an available provider. Manual editing and local saving do not require that provider.
The provider’s handling of requests depends on its terms and the configuration used by the operator. Do not submit passwords, private correspondence, other people’s personal information or material you are not entitled to share. Versecraft does not promise that every external provider has the same retention or training policy.
Preferences and optional services
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, language, appearance and saved consent choices. Analytics, advertising and customer-service integrations can be enabled by the site operator. Their processing depends on which integrations are actually enabled. When a consent interface is displayed, use it to manage the choices it offers. This policy does not imply that all optional integrations are enabled.
No paid writing plan is sold in the current product interface. If paid features are introduced, the relevant checkout information and policies must be made available before a purchase.
Your controls and requests
You can update the profile fields available in account settings and manage local drafts directly in My library. Requests concerning account records, access or deletion can be submitted through Support in your account. Sending a request does not automatically remove records that must be retained for a legitimate operational or legal reason.
Local drafts are separate from account records. Closing or changing an account does not automatically clear this browser’s library; manage those copies in the browser as described above.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be reflected in the date shown on this page. Check the policy again when a new feature changes how your information is handled.
